Wayne Akers Ford Maverick Tremor Package

Ford is expanding its pickup lineup following the success of the 2022 Ford Maverick, with the latest introduction of the 2023 Maverick Tremor Off-Road Package. As Ford prepares to open the Maverick order banks, the automaker is also offering one of the hottest Ford products for the upcoming model year. That said, the order banks aren’t just opening up for the Maverick (in September 2022), Ford is re-opening them for the Bronco Sport, Edge, Ranger and Explorer models on August 2 (2022).

The New Maverick Tremor

Built to tackle extreme terrain, the new Maverick Tremor is the perfect entry-level off-road pickup which features bold styling and powerful performance chops. Owners can rest easy knowing their pickups can tackle not only the worst of city traffic, but the roughest of terrain when supporting their outdoor passions.

“Ranger, F-150 and Super Duty customers have embraced the unique off-road capability, technology and appearance updates found across our Tremor family of trucks. Maverick Tremor delivers on this same promise with new functions and features designed for off-roading–all while keeping the truck’s signature size, affordability, and Built Ford Tough durability and capability,” said Todd Eckert, Ford truck product marketing and brand manager.

The all-new Maverick Tremor Package is available on the XLT and Lariat trims. Buyers can expect a functional and capable truck that keeps in line with the eye-catching aesthetics of the Tremor family of Ford pickups. Powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine beneath the hood, the Maverick Tremor also features an all-wheel drive system that’s all-new to the model. The advanced system features a twin-clutch rear-drive unit with a locking differential that improves overall off-road prowess. Thanks to this feature, the pickup can divert all rear axle torque to a single wheel when necessary. Ford also equipped the Maverick Tremor with five different selectable drive modes including pavement, mud, sand, snow, as well as a towing option, making operation of the pickup a breeze whether on-road or off.

Maverick Tremor Design

Rough and rugged to match the off-road trails it looks to embark on, the 2023 Maverick Tremor features a unique grille, black-out Ford logos, headlamps, tail lights and more. There are two front-row tow hooks in the signature Tremor Orange shade, but Ford offers the Tremor Appearance Package which adds even more menacing touches. When it comes to a Maverick Tremor model with a bolder look, the appearance package includes a Carbonized Gray-painted roof, Gray-painted mirror caps, and Black side graphics on the lower body and hood.

Additional accents on the Maverick Tremor include unique 17-inch aluminum wheels in a Tremor Orange and Dark Gray anodized finish, all-terrain tires, a new front fascia, more aggressive approach angles, and steel skid plates for improved performance and protection. On the interior of the pickup’s cabin the bold styling continues as buyers can enjoy Black Onyx seats with Tremor logo accents, and a center console, register vents and door pulls all updated to match the Tremor Orange scheme as well. Both packages will be available to order beginning in September (2022), with the 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor Off-Road Package retailing at $2,995 and the Tremor Appearance Package retailing at $1,495. Production of the 2023 Ford Maverick kicks off in the fall (2022).
