Sydney Sweeney Expands Ford Partnership, Designs Her Own Ford Mustang GT

Ford partnered with renowned actress and passionate auto enthusiast Sydney Sweeney once again, this time to offer a unique opportunity for one fortunate fan to win a specially crafted 2024 Ford Mustang GT personally designed by Sweeney. Collaborating closely with the Ford team, Sweeney brought her dream vehicle to life, drawing inspiration from her 1965 Mustang named Britney.

“It’s heartening to see Ford celebrate individuals who are pushing past stereotypes to do what they love. That’s why I was so excited to work with Ford on designing my dream car, and I can’t wait to surprise someone special with a matching vehicle,” said Sweeney.

In honor of the 60th anniversary of the Ford Mustang this year, Ford plans to construct two bespoke Mustang cars – one designated for Sweeney and the other intended as a prize for a fortunate contest winner.

Drawing inspiration from Sweeney’s beloved Brittany Blue 1965 Mustang, the vehicle seamlessly merges retro charm with a contemporary aesthetic. It reflects Sweeney’s distinctive personal style, showcasing customized textures, embellishments, and various details. Notable features include:

  • A Robin’s Egg Blue exterior adorned with a crushed glass clear coat
  • Stylish 20-inch chrome rims
  • Sweeney’s autograph prominently displayed on the car’s engine
  • LED stars embedded in the headliner,

The heart bolt emblem from the Ford x Sydney Sweeney collaboration, previously showcased on apparel in the Ford x Sydney workwear collections, can be found on the exterior, sill plate design, dashboard, and embossed on the leather seats.

In the latest development, in November of last year (2023), Ford and Sweeney unveiled a highly anticipated workwear collection. This release followed the initial launch of the Ford x Sydney Sweeney apparel line in March 2023, which garnered significant demand. The workwear collection, in particular, experienced rapid sales, with the most sought-after items selling out in under 36 hours, prompting a restock.

Apart from her exclusive workwear collections in collaboration with Ford, Sweeney introduced an Auto 101 social series and an online lookbook. This educational initiative guides viewers on essential vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure and jumpstarting a dead battery. The objective of the series is to empower women and encourage them to feel more confident in handling various aspects of vehicle maintenance.
